No, we identify every potential host at PROOMS via their credit card details. This is a way of assuring that all our hosts are real people offering real room.

In case of any unforeseen complications, you may RATE your host using our rating system and share your experience with other PROOMS members. Please report any misuse of the platform to support@prooms.com. We will then take all necessary measures.

The host shall accept one or several types of payment (cash, transfer to bank account, Paypal) upon offering his/her accommodation on the PROOMS website. The easiest and safest way is probably paying in cash directly on-site.

GUESTS will be asked via email to rate the PROOM after the stay. The accommodation will be rated either by a positive "thumbs up" or a negative "thumbs down". Additionally you can post a short comment. After several negative ratings of a accommodation, we will research the problem and will take action accordingly. There is also the possibility of excluding users from the community.

1.) BOOKING REQUEST: On the details interface you can directly send a booking request if you have entered the desired booking period, the number of guests and you are already logged in. (If you are not registered or logged in yet, you will be asked to register at this point. Following the registration, you will automatically be directed to the Details interface.)

2.) The host will then receive an email with your booking request and will check the availability of the proom. The contract shall only be obligatory after the host ACCEPTS YOUR REQUEST. You will also receive an email as well as all other necessary information and contact details.

Your request will expire automatically after 7 days if the host does not reply to it.

You may cancel your booking up to 1 day prior to the agreed date even if the host has already confirmed your request
(at MY PROOM/BOOKINGS).
